Grow Local Food Fund Selection Committee
The Grow Local Food Fund (GLFF) is wholly funded by shopper round-up donations through Whole Foods Co-op’s GIVE! Program. GLFF is a grant that provides funding for projects that build the resiliency of our local food system. More on Grow Local Food Fund qualifications and the grant application are available here.
Whole Foods Co-op is seeking Owners and participants in the food system to join our Selection Committee for this next round of GLFF 2027 grants.
The volunteer Selection Committee will be asked to attend one meeting that will be offered both in-person and virtually on Mon., Feb 8 from 5:30 – 7 pm. The next day, the Selection Committee will be emailed a packet of information, which will include the applications for review as well as a rubric for scoring. Applications will be reviewed blind and final review will be due Tues., March 2.
GLFF Selection Committee Interest forms to join the Selection Committee are due by end of day, Wed., Jan. 20. Interest forms will be reviewed to ensure a well-rounded committee, as well as for potential conflict of interest. An email confirming an applicant’s participation on the Selection Committee will go out in late January, along with a link to the virtual meeting to those who are unable to attend in-person.
