We are looking forward to continued shipments of products from our local partners throughout the weekend. We also anticipate returning to regular UNFI delivery schedules next week.

On behalf of Whole Foods Co-op and other members, National Co-op Grocers is coordinating directly with UNFI to ensure that co-ops are prioritized as UNFI continues to recover from the temporary disruption. At Whole Foods Co-op, UNFI deliveries have been reinstated, though it’s expected they will be limited through the weekend. In the meantime, we’re happy to be able to lean on our other distributors to minimize the impact on our shoppers.

Due to the current supply disruption, we are unable to guarantee special orders. Orders may be placed, and you will be notified within a week whether your order has been fulfilled.

Our cooperative is a member of a large national network of co-ops (National Co-op Grocers, or NCG), who is working together with UNFI to prioritize deliveries to our stores so we can restock items as soon as possible.
We expect limited deliveries from UNFI over the coming days.
We continue to work with our local and regional vendors to secure additional stock.

Late last week, United Natural Foods (UNFI), experienced a nationwide system outage that has impacted several grocery stores across the US, including Whole Foods Co-op.
UNFI is a large distributor for Whole Foods Co-op. However, we are proud to partner with 140+ local and regional distributors in addition to UNFI, and our team has been working hard to bring additional product to our stores.
While we don’t have a specific timeline, UNFI is working hard to resolve this issue.
