Partnerships
We love to engage with our community meaningfully! In addition to donations, Whole Foods Co-op gives our time, talents and expertise to support our Owners, shoppers and neighbors. This includes sharing resources with the local growing and food production community, providing cooking classes to participants of select nonprofits, and tabling events that help to make Duluth a wonderful place to live.

Out in the Community
The only thing we love more than a day at Whole Foods Co-op is a day at an event. We have a table, tent, fun activities, snacks – and will travel! If we can help to compliment your event, please fill out the Event Request Form. Please fill out at least six weeks prior to an event to allow time for review, scheduling and coordination.

Food Rescue
In our 2024 Fiscal Year, Whole Foods Co-op donated about $500/day worth of food to local on-site meal programs. We value our decades-long partnerships with Second Harvest Northland and Loaves and Fishes on weekly food pickups, including food that is still edible and nutritious, but non-sellable.
Visit Second Harvest Northland and Loaves and Fishes to learn more about their important work.

Cooperation Among Cooperatives
It’s our Cooperative Principle Number Six! As a cooperative, we believe that we’re stronger together. And this applies beyond our own walls to supporting other cooperative models, especially if their priority areas align with our own.
In addition, we’re a proud member of the National Co+op Grocers (NCG), and supporter of the Food Co-op Initiative.
