Homemade Almond Butter
Ingredients
- 3 C raw almonds
- olive oil
- salt and/or honey , to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Roast almonds dry on a cookie sheet for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
- In a food processor, process the almonds. The almonds will go through several stages before they become almond butter. It will take 15-20 minutes of processing and scraping down the sides. Drizzle in olive oil if needed, but not until at least 10 minutes into the grinding. Store in fridge.
