Sautéed Asparagus
Ingredients
- 1 lb asparagus
- 1 T butter
- 1 T olive oil
- 1 t garlic , minced
- 1 T shallots , finely diced
- ½ t sea salt
- ½ t black pepper
Instructions
- Break hard ends off of the asparagus and cut into bite size pieces. Heat butter and oil in a sauté pan and add the garlic and shallots. Sauté for 3 or 4 minutes and add the asparagus, salt, and pepper. Sauté until the asparagus is just fork tender — about 5 minutes.
