Whole Foods Co-op is seeking an experienced, creative, and accomplished leader to be our next General Manager.
Whole Foods Co-op (WFC) was founded in 1970 and seeks to achieve our ENDS: “In Duluth, there is a thriving consumer-owned cooperative that supports, invests and partners to create a healthy community including, but not limited to, a healthy regional food system.” We have two retail stores with projected annual sales of $21M, 9000 owners, and 155 employees. Our new GM will have a strong background in grocery retail management, sound financial management skills, visionary leadership, and a comprehensive knowledge of the natural foods industry. Successful candidates will demonstrate ability to resolve conflict, promote positivity, and communicate organizational vision to employees, owners, and community partners. The GM reports to a seven-member Board of Directors that operates under policy governance and is elected by the co-op ownership.
