Brandy Butter Sauce

This sauce should be served hot. If you make it ahead, cover and refrigerate until a few minutes before serving. Return to high heat and stir until sauce comes to a boil.

Ingredients

• 1 C sugar
• ½ C heavy cream
• ½ C butter
• 2 T brandy
• 2 t vanilla

Instructions

1. Combine sugar, cream, and butter in a heavy saucepan. Over high heat, stirring constantly, bring mixture to a boil. Boil 3 minutes, continuing to stir. Remove from heat, and add the brandy and vanilla.
